MP3 decoder on WIZ200WEB

Sunday, September 19th, 2010

Bought a VS1053 mp3 decoder on eBay and connected it to the WIZ200Web. With a testprogram from Michael Köcher I now can hear MP3 files that are on the SD-Card. The first step to a real WebRadio. SD-card connected to the SPI-bus of the Atmega128L, for the SPI-bus of the MP3 decoder bitbanging is done on the F-port. Had to disable JTAG on the Atmega128L, and it took me a while to get that figured out….

512 Mbyte SD-card connected to the WIZ200WEB. Works great. On it 2 FLV-films of 5 Mbyte and a Flash SWF-file of 183 Kbyte. Works perfectly. A subdirectory with a htaccess-file and it is prompting for a username:password when you want to access it through the Internet.

WIZ200WEB (again)…

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Got a mail from Michael Köcher from Germany. He has made GREAT Bascom-AVR-software for the WIZ200WEB. This module has a Wiznet W5300 ethernetcontroller, an Atmega128, 32 Kbyte extra XRAM and 512 Kbyte serial flash. The software is capable of handling 6 socks for webserver, 1 sock for NTP/DHCP, 1 sock for UDP remote setup. Works great. And the full HTML-page, including pictures, flash-file and video-files are on a SD-Card. Bascom-AVR code is well structured with every protocol in a seperate $include-file. The software can be found here:
